Description This is how I do it.

My watchers voted and wanted to see a plush tutorial. I used my latest plush [link] as the star of this craziness. I didn't go into much detail about how to cut out certain details, so if there are any questions feel free to ask in a comment or note

If you use this send me a link, I'd love to see!

It helped me out a lot with my first plushie. I'm definately recomending it to anyone else who wants to start making plushies.
If you want, this is how mine turned out: [link]

I love this so much. It's super helpful! But I can't get the plush the right size. It was so out of proportion that I kept laughing at it. But, I'll keep trying!

You can always fix a botched body. If you just turn it back inside out then you can make alterations, I've had to do that to at least 1/3 of my dolls Practice makes (almost) perfect!

Hello ^-^ I swear I've looked at a billion tutorials, and no one says what they use for white flesh colored fabric.. May I ask what you use? I personally use muslin. It works fine, but it has brown dots on it, and I'm curious what other people use because I can never find anything else..

By the way your plushies are adorable ^-^ I'm jealous. I hope to be as good as you someday

I just gotta figure out how to make a hat -A-

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AlchemyOtaku17 In reply to ClockWorkUmbrella [2012-06-15 10:44:27 +0000 UTC]

I make hats like that by cutting out a ring the shape of the head, a long strip that's the thickness or the height of the hat, and a circle. Then I carefully hotglue them in place

Any tips on how to make your larger dolls? I found some half finished doll outfits my grandmother made, but the bigger design of yours would fit them better
