Description This is how I do it.

My watchers voted and wanted to see a plush tutorial. I used my latest plush [link] as the star of this craziness. I didn't go into much detail about how to cut out certain details, so if there are any questions feel free to ask in a comment or note

If you use this send me a link, I'd love to see!

Same body, only difference is that the head has more shaping and it attached by some form of neck (i.e paper cup/toilet paper roll thing with hot glue) larger dolls are less stable and may require reinforcing but the general idea is the same Good luck!

30 minutes to 3 hours, it all depends on how familiar you are with the materials and the simplicity of the plush

Hey, thanks alot for making this tutorial. I've never really been able to pull off making costumes and didn't even think of using a gluegun for those details. This was really fun to make.

Thanks for the tutorial, I have a basic pattern like yours cut out, but have yet to begin making my plush. I was going to ask you if this process is very difficult? Thanks.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AlchemyOtaku17 In reply to Justinpetrat [2012-02-09 02:20:10 +0000 UTC]

Well I've had a lot of practice, so depending on the character it can be easy (L from Death Note) or extremely difficult and detailed. This is the easiest way to make plushies in my opinion though!

GabiPaciulo In reply to ??? [2012-01-29 22:19:05 +0000 UTC]

very good work with the felt ... I'm impressed with how simple that you use to make the dolls ... I also tried to do Felt dolls a while ago, but used a method a little more complicated, with all seams hand-made ... I have a sewing machine, but do not like to use to sew little things XD. I'll try to make one like yours ... (would be honored if you saw one of my dolls and say what you think *---*) thank you and congratulations!
