I know it's true but it dosn't mean he has to say it. I wrote that comment a long time ago and can't be bothered to read the shitty deviation again to try and remember why I said what I said but I stick by what I said in my comment. If he was the first one who had made a shitty tutorial thing then I would have thought "ha that's funny blah blah blah, you're so insightful, everything you wrote in there is SO INCREDIBLY TRUE" but this isn't insightful it's just copied from what loads of other people have already said.
I know that if I was just starting out and wanted to try and improve my art so I found an art community where I could get some advice on improving my work etc. and then I read this, or someone said something like that to me in a comment then I wouldn't wanna carry on trying, and if I did then I would probably be held back for fear of emulating other people's work. Now I'm not saying that people should just say "oh man your stuff is so great, so unique XD!!1!!111", people should criticise (sp?) but why can't it be constructive? Don't just tell people what they are doing wrong, tell them how to improve. And if you don't know how they can improve it then sure;y you have no right to tell them they did it wrong in the first place.
And what was the point in replying to my comment and saying what you said? I was just giving my opinion, which I have the right to. Everyone has the right to an opinion, including idiots like you.
