And so begins the first of three trials, that the fallen may reclaim their honor.

A branch nearly slaps her face and Ari clings tighter to the reins, pressing herself down against Jager's neck. The big stallion is heaving in solid breaths, flanks rippling with effort. The longer they run the more she loses site of anything but the next floating lantern.
They have to win, or the ghosts of her past will eat her alive.

It's done.
It's finally done, three months of effort are done! //parties all over the place

For those who are confused as to the 'story';
It's been two years since Ari and Jager were banished from Rakernon for her betrayal to the Slayers, and the first competition they've entered. Ari has it in her head that winning this event (proving Jager to be one of the best Nordanners ever and herself as worthy of being his rider) will redeem her for her deception.

Of the three pieces I actually did this one last and finished it in the least amount of time. For some reason it just came easier to me, and I'm actually very proud of it.
