(Ahh! Thanks so much! But when layering how do you make the second layer's colors not go over the first layer? I know you lock the first layer in photoshop but I'm not too sure with Sai)

I think that might be if you put one layer in 'clipping group' then the layer you will paint on in 'clipping group', then once you're finished remove them both from the clipping group, it should have kept the colors off.

I bought SAI a few months ago and even though I've experimented with a lot of the tools, I still have no idea what some of them are for, so seeing an explaning for all of them is very nice.
Also, the brushes.... I can't explain to you in words just how amazing they are

and this was insanely helpful.

I wouldn't call the pen pressure tool useless, for those who don't have a tablet and ink with a mouse instead, combined with the curve tool it's priceless. It works beautifully and gives a much better result than a similar function in Photoshop.

for some reason i cant make it bigger, theres that stupid "X" in the corner, so i tried downlaoding it, and it did it again, i reloaded the page, and it still does it, is there something wrong? and why cant i emlarge it?

err, you can press ctrl+f5 for reloading with clearing the cache, then it should work i guess
