Description
Alright! The final version! WOO! I've unveiled the four '3rd party' characters I'd most like to see. Solid Snake (we already know that, duhWell, I'm kind of sad, because if I could've crammed more characters onto the screen, I would have. Guys like Megaman, Andy, Mike Jones, Takamaru, Demiru, etc. *sigh* Any chance SSBB will boast like 60 characters? ;_;

I really, REALLY doubth that Banjo would apear since he s a Microsoft owned character, still quite a good lineup.

I see you remembered to drop Roy & Dr. Mario (which also means you had to drop Pichu, but thems the breaks). Surprised you kept in young Link tho...
Interesting character List... Either Ryu or any Megaman (Original, X, Zero, XZ Aile, Volnut, EXE, Star Fighter) have a better chance of showing up than Banjo, of course.

I kept Young Link because I feel it's almost more appropriate to have him than adult Link It's weird, but it fits.
Although I'd design him to be a realistic rendered version of the WW/Minish Cap/Four Swords/Phantom Hourglass Link (Same outfit, hair, etc. Only rendered realistically instead of cel-shaded.)

Ristar wasn't on there?! What kind of list is that without Ristar?! TREASON!
Also, Brawl should only have 30-40 characters, not 60. Hopefully they allow you to download characters like on the Dreamcast.
I like how this ended up.

There's still Stafy! ;_; He's a star!
And this is actually 46 characters. I was just hoping for 60 so every single character I want can get in

WRONG!
I count 43.
Not including Peach and Bowser(WhTH is they?).
That makes it 45.
Hmm...36...Sheik, ZSS, Squirtle, Charizard...40!
That makes it just 5 more than Brawl.

True but I have alternate characters hidden under others
Peach and Bowser was a test to see how long it took people to notice

An idea I had is that some characters are on the backside of other character tokens, to save on screen space. I.E., Doc Mario is on the back of Mario. Mr. L is on the back of Luigi, etc.

It's not the same...
Oh really? I didn't count them all.

Banjo/Kazooie arn't third party characters... they're first party characters.. of Microsoft...

Actually, they're second-party.
But yeah... we can't get them because Microsoft bought out Rare... nor any other non-DKC Rare character...

Sorry. Rare is 100% owned by Microsoft, and are technically now simply a subsidiary of Microsoft Game Studios. They're a first-party, much like Retro Studios is a first-party to Nintendo.

All the post-Microsoft Transition Handheld Rare games disagree.

Ah ah ah! RareWare is Second Party to Microsoft, but can act as Third Party to any company not viewed as competition for Microsoft, thus why RareWare is still developing games for the Nintendo DS! (Diddy Kong racing, anyone?)
Secondly, they're under contract to develop games for the XBoX series of systems, however there's no problem with them contributing a character for a different game, provided they're not developing that game for another system...
Also, still not sure how Microsoft views the Wii.... if they don't deem it to be competition in the gaming system field (as they view the DS) then who knows, RareWare just might get the chance to develop for the Wii! ^_^

Yeah, but they're making a new Banjo-Kazooie for the 360. Besides, Rare's only allowed to work on the DS and GBA because Microsoft doesn't have a portable system of their own.

Yes but RareWare still no need work on SSBB to lend one of their characters y'know. Konami's not helping build SSBB, only Hideo Kojima's helping out, Snake's original creator.
There's no reason why they don't have as much a chance as any other 3rd party character ^_^

I don't think Microsoft will allow Rareware to loan a character off of the DS, though. Who knows, however. Microsoft might allow it.

*Starts clicking on the character select screen* Aargh, it's not working!
Speculating on who's going to make the cut just makes the wait harder. But at least it gives us Smash fans something to do.
...and I would have chosen Megaman over Bomberman! *Runs away*
