Alright! The final version! WOO! I've unveiled the four '3rd party' characters I'd most like to see. Solid Snake (we already know that, duh
), Sonic (OMG! BLUE!), BanjoKazooie (British!), and Bomberman (OMG BOOM!)Well, I'm kind of sad, because if I could've crammed more characters onto the screen, I would have. Guys like Megaman, Andy, Mike Jones, Takamaru, Demiru, etc. *sigh* Any chance SSBB will boast like 60 characters? ;_;

That's an impressive list. ^^ And I agree, Mike Jones would have been an amazing addition - in the wake of the recent Punch'Out remake, why not StarTropics?

Again, he's in the bottom left section. I'm certain you'll find the little white guy eventually. It's not that big an area to search.
Currently, I'm working on Smash Brothers Fisticuffs (programming), No More Chibis (art), and a special 'ultra fancy' art piece. I also just completed "Oh Hamburgers", a little fun one-off ^_^

Mike Jones! Main character of the Nintendo series "StarTropics"
Think of a more action packed, old-school top-down Zelda type game, with a better story and richer graphics.
Come to think of it, StarTropics (for the NES) is on the Virtual Console right now. I'll suggest it, as it's one of my all-time favorite old school games. Plus, it's one of the prettiest NES titles ever made. Nice meaty boss fights, big areas to explore, clever tricks and traps, a plethora of fun weapons, and some nice music as well.

Banjo and Kazooie deserve being in this game... Too bad it' not likely...
Even though they are first-party characters, Nintendo could still use them in the game (but it would be VERY expensive). After all, even though some characters, stages and music are owned by Nintendo, I think they still have to sign some contracts with Rare in order to include music from Donkey Kong series, for example, and characters like Diddy Kong and Krystal.
Also, B-K were one of the most fan-requested characters back in Melee (and they got a very good place in the top 10, along with Peach and Bowser, for example, but I don't remember the exact place)
But it would be the best surprise ever if they were announced to be in Brawl... Too bad I don't believe there's any realistic chance that they will be in...

Actually, they're 'not exactly' first party.
RareWare holds the rights to their characters, not Microsoft. Microsoft just dictates what system they make games for. HOWEVER. RareWare lending a character to another game, doesn't count as RareWare developing said game for them.
Also keep in mind games like, Viva Pinata (DS), SabreWulf (GBA AWESOME GAME), BanjoKazooie: Grunty's Revenge (GBA), Banjo Pilot (GBA), Diddy Kong Racing (DS) and It's Mr.Pants! (GBA) were all made AFTER RareWare went over to Microsoft. So yeah, they still dabble with Nintendo stuff

Not really. I just put Sonic in there because to me Sonic, Snake, Bomberman, Megaman and BanjoKazooie are my top picks for third party characters.
My REAL wish is for the more obscure characters, like Jill and Little Mac, who are sadly now Assist Trophies.

Technically, if I could do FIVE third party characters, Megaman would be in there too... but I just like the idea of Bomberman running around with explosives... plus he's fought Solid Snake and Wario previously, making for good grudge matches

Whats realistic is that you have no Deoxys and Goroh. But no Bowser

Just saying here, there's a couple of more potential characters you could put in here. Like, King Dedede,Bowser jr,Ike,KK slider,And Rildley.
If this was me I'd take out the laughing Dog and Banjo. Leaving you with a total of 50 characters.

Stafy. Star of Legend of Stafy 1 (GBA), Legend of Stafy 2 (GBA), Legend of Stafy 3 (GBA) and Legend of Stafy 4 (DS)
Has also shown up in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Princess Peach, and Wario teamed up with Stafy in Legend of Stafy 3 for a bit.

i very much dought you would have 60 characters because i dont think the game would be handle it and half of those characters i very much dought will be in it

There's actually less than 50 characters in that image
And actually the game could handle a large roster quite well. Keep in mind it wouldn't be rendering every character fighting at the same time, just those currently in a fight
Also... you doubt now. But we'll have to wait and see... (Several of those 'unlikely' characters are ones Sakurai himself mentioned by name, or is quite fond of.)

i know but i say dont get your hopes up as some of them will not likely make it i hope for bomberman and serveral other characters to make it but i have to look opon what the directors say that can and what cant be in it ppersonaly i hope thay all make it but if you think that the last rwo ssb didnt have that many characters

True, the last two Smash Brothers didn't have this many characters...
However the N64 Cartridge and the GCN Optical Disc didn't have NEARLY the storage space of a Wii Optical Disc
Also given that they're improving compression techniques and quality all the time, I suspect you'll see some surprises in Brawl.

of course but who knows you may have 30 characters instead of 25 this time and considering that the wii has a computer system like the other 7 gen consloes we would most likley probaly see more this time round
