(I was supposed to have this done for halloween, but obviously, I can't draw this in 3 days...)

I like it a lot.
Maybe you should add a little deph at some parts like the plants in the foreground and the ones which should be more in background because they are smaller due to perspective. They seem to start/grow at the same level.

I know the plants look kind of funky... But this was my very first "detailed" vector, and after spending many many hours on the house and sky and the fog , I was so sick and tired of working on it, that the plants were more of a "emergency" solution. The reference photo showed a staircase and a path leading our way, but I just didn't have the energy anymore

I love this, it's also one of my favorite theme park attractions of Disney aside from the other Mansions. You did excellent detail on this, instant fave.

Reading "You may not believe it, but beauty once lived in this house" just made me hear Vincent Prince's narration for the attraction go through my head. Brilliant! Though I don't think Phantom Manor has English narrations anymore.
Sadly, I have never been to Disneyland Paris (though I will one day - soon, hopefully) so I have never experienced Phantom Manor. I have gone to Disneyland here in California all my life and simply adore Haunted Mansion. I don't know much about the differences between the two versions - I do believe it follows a completely different storyline. And I do know that Phantom Manor has a very cool grand staircase at the loading area.
Anyways, pardon my rambling, and well done!

No, indeed, the english narration has been cut. The only original thing we have left is his laughter. all the rest is dubbed in French. They demanded it of disney when they first opened the attraction park. French people really don't know any ohter language. It's too bad tough, cause the rest of europe is more fluent in English than French. Some attractions, or part of attractions have a double narration. Like Mme Leota, she tells her poem half in French, half in English.

And yes, the grand staircase is indeed a very fine piece of decoration! I haven't seen the other haunted mansions tough, but I'll be going to disneyland florida on our honeymoon in a few years
The phantom manor was actually the first haunted house to have a story. Since the imagineers felt sorry for the other mansions, they coocked up a story for them too. The Phantom Manor (in old ages known as the Ravenswood manor) was the home of the mayor of Thunder Mesa, his wife and daughter. His daughter, Melanie, was set to be married to a bright young engineer. Alas, as their wedding day presented itself, A ghost fell in love with the beautifull Melanie, and kidnapped and killed her husband to be. She sat there, whole alone in the ballroom, waiting for his return. "one day, he will come" she said. So she never took off her wedding dress. For years and years she waited. As she grew older, the house decayed. Melanie roamed the house for years, as more ghost started to inhabit the house. Outside, the once beautiful grounds were falling apart and crumbling. The gilded staircase and structure was dotted with mold and trees and every plant on the grounds died. As if sensing the evil inherent in the house, nothing living treaded there... Thunder mesa became a ghost town and everyone who dared to set foot at night, would never return. As of today, nobody knows if melanie is still alive. If she is, then she must be over a hundred years old, but her voice still carries over the forgotton town at night. Sometimes, people still see lights inside the house.Whether she's alive or not, what is well known is that poor old Melanie never really left the crumbling mansion. She waits for her groom 'till judgment day....
