Just replying for Ali, the answer to your question,

It is practice, learning the basics, practice some more,learn more advance techniques along the way and practice on. The basic idea is to practice, practice, practice and love what you are doing.
I can tell you a basic principal about painting, find your tones Light, mid, dark, highlight and reflective light.
If you want to learn how to draw you should look for good drawings, photographs of models (Nude or Clothed your choice) go out and draw from life and draw everything you see. You won't be awesome with a few pointers over night so remember to love what you're doing and practice.
Plus learn to accept criticism even the ones you think are stupid.
Talent is a word used by people who are too lazy to practice or not having enough passion. Painting and Drawing is a skill you love and develop over time, the more practice and passion you have, the faster you will improve.
