Description
Multiple Personality Disorder - Subject undergoes extreme personality shifts, often becoming a completely different "character". The fact that they almost always have no recollection what their other personalities have done led olden time practices in certain parts of the world to either declare them as being posessed, or serving as a vessel for multiple souls.Portfolio theme: Using color and form to display a variety of mental disorders.

This was the hardest to get right character-wise, because I had to show extremely different emotions and hairstyles, while still keeping it obviously the same girl. Even now, I'm not sure I succeeded. Unlike Bipolar Disorder though, I was able to change outfits between personalities to help illustrate the mood.

Well according to the description, I'm lucky? Because I have multiple personalities and I almost always remember everything, sure there are those times when none of us can remember where we place something, and maybe a small handful of times were I don't remember what happened for like 5 minutes to an hour.
But other than that I think this one of the few pieces made by someone make a "tribute" to having multiple personalities that I very much like, so good job

It's actually now technically called Dissociative Personality Disorder (psychiatrists loveΒ to confuse people.) Also, there's a debate to if it even exists or not (for various reasons.)

My Aspergers gives me a mildΒ version of this. IΒ talk to myself a lot, usually about random things, almost like I'm talking to a friend.....Β I call this other personality "Avici", named after the lowest level in Buddhist hell.

That's crazy because I have Asperger's/High-Functioning Autism too and I talk to myself and I also often kind of feel like I'm talking to someone else, maybe it's an Autism thing.

Nice. I love your mental disorders pictures. I think this is my favorite, or one of them!

Two out of three of me like this, the third hates everything so ignore him.
Seriously, I suffer from a "mild" form of this, because of a traumatic childhood, and your pic shows what its like. Its "mild", as each of my personae--rather than being separate--are more like the facets on a diamond, meaning there is just one me, or diamond, but it may look very different when looking at the different faces. It doesn't just look different from the outside. I also see the outside differently, depending on which of my faces is interacting with it. Its normally my aggressive self-serving face that deals with the world around me, as it is the most functional persona, tho not always the most pleasant. It can make life very interesting at times. But, on the plus side, I excel at role playing games, as I can generate a new persona at will, to play whatever character I want to play.
Your pic is the first I have seen, that gives any idea of what its like inside my head. Good piece!

I have gotten a couple comments like these on this collection, and they never fail to make me extremely happy. The fact that I actually captured what it's even remotely like is seriously cool.
Another reason I enjoy them so much is because the commenters have given me another look into the mind of someone who lives with it, versus the list of symptoms every medical website on the Earth lists. I love the diamond analogy, as it's really relatable (to me at least). I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for stopping by! c:

Haha, I was about to say "Aw, the middle girl looks like Fluttershy." then I read the comments
I really like this piece, but there's nothing terribly striking about the foreground. I like the aura coming off each of the different personalities though
Yay another pony fan that doesn't just draw ponies xD

Unfortunately, this was around the time when I had to start churning pictures out to meet the deadline, so there wasn't a whole lot of wiggle room to perfect each and every detail. I did try to work a kind of misty aura into the midle ground, but then it became too busy and I didn't have enough playtime to come up with another idea.

I love this one, really love how you drawn them all.
It's like you can't see who the "real" one is.

Thank you so much! This one was a bit difficult because I couldn't make them look similar enough to be exactly the same person, but I eventually ran out of time to mess with it. XD

Fun Fact: The name for Multiple Personality Disorder is actually now Dissociative Identity Disorder. I have no idea when it was changed, but it was.
Amazing nonetheless.

Orly? c: I did not know that.
Also, since you seemed to pick up on the Pinkie Pie reference, I figured I might as well tell you that this was based on the many faces of Fluttershy. (Normal, Discorded, and YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ME.) XD It kinda became a game to see how many pony references I could fit into this collection.

OHMYGOD. Fluttershy! Are there more pony ones that I just didn't notice? >
Also, about the schizophrenia one, I hope you do! It would be awesome! It could be, like, Twilight Sparkle when she was freaking out because she got the letter in late or something. xD

Ooooh that's a good idea. >
I kinda count the Synesthesia one because it has rainbow hair, but other than that Gelatophobia was kinda inspired by when Twilight was picturing the fillies pointing and laughing at her. I think it was that same episode.
