hello again fellow viewers, merry belated christmas to you all! i wanted to post this on christmas morning but was delayed yet again due to work. this is my christmas gift to all of you! this artwork is rightfully entitled 'frost' for its chilly appearance which is perfect for this frosty season, get it .... frosty .... frost .... eh? huh, ............ bad pun is bad, i know. spent about 18 hours working this thing over the coarse of a week. i actually left it alone for a few days as i got tired of working on it. i got reinspired to finish it after seing some other space artwork by some of our very own deviants, so my thanks to them. because of them i also tried something new with the background stars and they look really good in my opinion. and yes, before you ask, the bouble stripe on the flare is intentional. all in all, i think it came out pretty good!
