When I first started this project, I posted them in sets of 12 as I finished them; however, I gave up on that as it got annoying. But now I've decided to post up level sets whenever I finish all of the characters in a certain world. This includes enemies, so you'll see some repeats, but it doesn't include things that can be found in every level (honey hives, Jinjos, etc.- I mean really, it would be silly to put Bottles in every set up to Gobi's Valley).
CC is especially character-deficient, so it's no surprise I finished it first. I like the level, personally. Some people hate it for its focus on swimming, and contend that it's too hard for its early spot in the game, but I remember getting 100% the first time I entered it when I first played the game, way back in... 2000? I just think it's cool to have a level built around, and inside, a leviathan of a living garbage disposal.
Anyway, Clanker himself is a loveable character, wouldn't you agree? But, what a poor thing... He has really an awful life, from the purpose for which he was originally created, to his eventual fate of falling apart, which I believe probably happened from neglect, to winding up as an exhibit in our favorite half-assed themepark/museum, Banjoland. And Gobi complains about his problems, psssh!

Only difference? Clanker's sad that he scares people, while Mad Jack seems to almost get high from it.

I both love and hate this level. I love dear old sweet Clanker but I could never free him when I was younger because my gaming skills were bad and I found it hard to navigate Banjo and Kazooie underwater and I always missed Gloop"s air bubbles. On a rare chance I may have gotten one bubble but I usually drowned. My Brother always released Clanker for me and then later I'd drown or lose health causing me to restart the level. Which the first time it happened I didn't realise that restart level meant you had to give Clanker air again. So I was left very frustrated.

Ah, 'tis my poem about Clanker. It's in my gallery, if you'd like to look it up. I must admit I'm quite proud of it. The Banjo series is ripe for children's poems and tales of the old-school variety; with a strong morbid streak and not necessarily a happy ending.
Yeah, I have a list, and a good friend who helps me keep everything straight. It'll get done, I just don't do much digital art these days. I'll work hard again over Christmas break.

Yeah, I considered making a background to stick these guys in, like a mini version of the level itself (sort of a simplified map)... but I thought it would take too much time that I could spend to make more actual Cuties...

That's great to hear! With my fanworks, I endeavour to rekindle love for the original as well as breathe new life into it... I always try to reflect not just how much I love/have been inspired by what is already there, but also how much room for imagination there is left in a fictional world that interests us.

I really hated Clanker Cavern at first... I guess I was really horrible at swimming when I was a kid. XD I remember initially being terrified of staring at his giant maw as I entered the area... and then being scared to swim down to the bottom of his chain to free him. >__>;;
Now that I'm not scared of it any more, it does seem like a much nicer level. XD

I think every little kid who played Banjo-Kazooie was terrified when they first came upon Clanker's jaws, and he snapped them at you... I know it freaked me out...

I think that's a good idea posting the pics in level themes - it makes them really seem to belong together, and also brings back memories of the level! Clanker's Cavern was a great level, even if it could be kind of frustrating. Its music would have to be one of my favourites.
Anyway nice job on the pics, I especially like how Clanker himself looks.

I know LOG can teleport crap... but he can also be lazy. Maybe he didn't want to expend the processing. Personally I think Clanker has just been in the cavern ever since B-K, and with Grunty gone from her lair there was no one to look after him, and the water finally corroded him enough so that he fell apart. How distressing... there I go with the morbidity again... N&B really didn't have much at all you could consider morbid, but to see Clanker in pieces is really an awful thing for a sensitive old fan...

Well hey, I do think a good story, even a fanfic, must have its sadness, because real life certainly isn't all cheer. I try to bring a bit more of a serious twist even to "happier" fandoms... of course that's not evident in B-C amidst all the cuteness...
