Nothing to do with Amalgamation. It's a render I did for a friend of mine, she told me she felt like an outsider or an alien so we joked about how we'd get her to her home planet, and I decided I wanted to see what it'd look like when she found it and made this...

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. It has that wistful feel with the silhouette staring into the distant earth - it's the kinda vibe I love. The colours are also spectacular - it really has that deep space feel and I almost imagine myself in the scene staring into space myself. It's breathtaking
A bit of a nitpick I have though is that the the large patch of light on the bottom left corner can be distracting to the viewer - it constantly makes me want to look there, even though there's nothing to see.Β

Hmm, yeah I see what you mean and you're totally right, 100% agree! This was one of my first few renders, but I did learn a bit about photography and stuff in my Diploma, so disappointed I didn't see that! Oh well next time!
It's the stupid light source I put in the back behind the camera to light up the rocks a bit because they were so dark but I put it too close and it gave off too much light to that one spot. Thanks for commenting on it for me and pointing that out though
