It took me five days to draw Reshiram and Zekrom but four hours for Kyurem like honestly how does that work. Anyways, this poor baby was originally going to be skipped because I was so tired of drawing dragons, but I sucked it up. Now he's done and I likely don't have to draw 'em again.

Kyurem's story is remarkably sad, and the direct cause of his personality. When the Original Dragon split into two the remainder of its conscience was forwarded into an empty shell left behind by Reshiram and Zekrom. This empty shell was Kyurem, and he held the only sensibility the raging beast had earned when it was alive. After the split Kyurem was left with the short end of the stick. His body was deformed and unlike both of its counterparts, and what did remain was overcome with bitter ice, which was originally the power of the Original Dragon converted into a new typing. His appearance made many fear him, and it wasn't long before stories of him eating children and coming from another planet began to rise up. During the Unovian War he hid away from the wrath of his two counterparts until the two hunted him down and pleaded he assist their cause to destroy every last inch of the region. Being the only sane one, Kyurem desperately asked for them to stop, and a fight broke out. His yearning to complete the Original Dragon again so that he could lose his warped look made him fuse with Zekrom, and Reshiram's fury was revealed to the both of them when Black Kyurem tried to take it too. Reshiram forcibly tore Kyurem from Zekrom and while the legend was distracted both of them attacked him relentlessly. His tail was lost during this fight, utterly destroyed with the only semblance of it ever existing being a chunk of ice applied to stop the bleeding.
When Reshiram and Zekrom were sealed away Victini did not know of Kyurem, and would only find out years later. Kyurem appeared to be nothing more than a depressed creature that lacked a reason to exist, so Victini decided to just ignore him. He hasn't been seen by anyone outside of Unova since.

Kyurem

    Personality : Kyurem's depression runs deeper than any legend, including Yveltal and Lugia. He lacks any kind of social skills and scares Pokemon on sight, which has slowly led him to believe that he really is a monster. Out of compassion for the mortal Pokemon he sealed himself away so that they won't be scared, and has made his nest deep inside the Giant Chasm. It is there he wallows in his misery, and will snap at anyone that tries to interrupt out of concern for them. The Swords of Justice initially tried to remove him from the Giant Chasm when Pokemon complained about a monster, but befriended Kyurem when they realized that he was nothing more than an old, bitter legend with nothing to live for. They've been friends ever since, and Kyurem is the only legend young Keldeo will confide in. The truth that he has the ability to make friends has somewhat rejuvenated him, and he's losing his aggressive edge day by day. The return of Reshiram and Kyurem will only serve to hinder that though, as Kyurem has forgiven everyone in his life except them.
    Battle Effectiveness : Kyurem is only somewhat less powerful than the respective rulers of each region, which puts him at a disadvantage when against, for example, Reshiram and Zekrom. His priority is to scare Pokemon off rather than hurt them, but when he flies into a rage he'll tap into his special attack to fire off extraordinarily powerful Blizzards. Glaciate is also rather deadly, and can stop a Pokemom in their tracks. This is alike to Scary Face, which is the one move Kyurem relies on a lot. When Pokemon are scared to death of him he'll finish the job as they remain stuck in place.
    Special Abilities : Kyurem's body is so cold that he can freeze air when he releases it through his pores. He's also cold enough to freeze water solid to the touch, and sap the body heat of any Pokemon he comes into contact with. He is able to fuse with Zekrom and Reshiram but does not require their consent to do so, which makes him a threat in their eyes. His memory and power can also allow him to learn the signature moves of his counterparts and reinvent his own, a power only ever acknowledged by Victini.
