Description
These two took forever and I still don't like how they turned out. I think it's all in the faces. Zekrom is a lot bulkier and I drew him in a close 3/4 view. Reshiram, on the other hand, is pivoted in the left direction, so it makes both of their bodies look off. I'm sure they'll grow on me- wait. Scratch that, I'm not drawing them again, so I think they'll sort of rot away. In terms of the main story they don't serve much of a purpose besides being extra muscle for Arceus and making Victini stew.

The two were ancient dragon Pokemon, existing long before Groudon and Kyogre, and maybe even Rayquaza. They were tamed by a Unovian king who promised them glory when they used to be the Original Dragon. Instead, he used them as battalions to claim other kingdoms with little care as to what they wanted. The two split apart when they argued about who was right and wrong, but stayed with the king even after they knew of what evil he had done. The two ended up as gifts to the king's two sons, who were the perfect tools for freedom. The two whispered into the ears of the princes and got them to battle against each other, which would lay waste to their the king's kingdom. History says they fought, and history doesn't lie, but the fighting was all a facade for an inner war. Both knew it had to be convincing, and though they never saw eye to eye, they did what they had to for their freedom. Finally, they turned on the king, who had lost both of his sons, his land, and his castle to the dragons. Victini got back too late, after the king had been slain, and reacted in anger. He used the Dragon Force to seal them underneath the earth in the sandy deserts, praying they never woke up lest they come looking for him. They were trapped there for years, until Arceus would force Victini to set them free, nearly millions of years after the original battle. Now they struggle to adjust to the modern world, and the legends that abide within in. Rules can't be broken willy nilly anymore, and some suspect it's only a matter of time until they crack.

The wispy thing on the right is Reshiram's ponytail(s). It's about the length of his entire body and always flows.

Zekrom

    Height : 9' 06"
    Weight : 760.6 lbs.
    Ability : Teravolt

    Personality : Zekrom is all about being tough, and he hates nothing more than sloths that laze around and "dream". Zekrom laughs in the face of those people. Dreams are for chumps too lazy to actually fulfill what they want in life. He's all about action, and his personality makes him more than intimidating to those he comes across. He's very in your face, never appearing to be weak or afraid. He works against fear and uses it to become even stronger. His short temper is worse than Latias' or Kyogre's, and some compare him to Lugia in terms of coldness. Like the latter, he's not easy to befriend, but unlike Lugia he will let someone into his heart if they prove themselves. Everyone is a rival until they are his equal, and only then will he relent and let down his guard. He thinks he's got a great laugh, and that's not an understatement. He loves anti-jokes and when he's relaxed is always down for a good prank.
    Battle Effectiveness : Hitting head on is a major attack strategy of Zekrom. He'll run into, smack, or assault his enemies with his whole body, even going as far as using the talons on his wings as weapons. His body can spark up with electricity and shock a weaker Pokemon to death in an instant. Like Reshiram he is slow, but his defences are a lot better. He likes to keep his Attack strong so that he can continue to lay down multiple blows one after the other before his opponent can react or even heal.
    Special Abilities : Zekrom can drain electricity simply by coming into contact with it, and his tail can act as a lightning rod to attract and dispel electricity. He can create lightning between the horns on his head and throw it into the sky to bring down thunderbolts.

    Weight : 727.5 lbs.
    Ability : Turboblaze

    Personality : At first glance Reshiram is the perfect legend, and the angel to Zekrom's devil. It takes years of digging deeper to find the truth- he's a manipulator. He'll twist the truth in his favour and seduce those with his smiles and favours to gain their attention. Once he knows they're trapped in his web, he's not afraid to blackmail and extort to get what he wants. On the outside, this isn't very clear, and he's very prideful. He loves preening and looking beautiful, and will only be friends with those that believe in the same things he does. Being egotistical is sometimes not enough for him, and he always needs to be the centre of attention. Everything he says is exaggerated and he's a bit too good at telling stories. Lots of legends fall in love with him, and it only makes him more confident with himself. However, for all of his faults, he's very good at pretending. He appears a good mentor figure to Keldeo and the Legendary Birds and incredibly clever. He can see through someone else's lies in a second. His fury is hard to provoke, but when it is invoked he will destroy everything in his path. He's noticed a crush coming from Moltres and is nurturing it, but doesn't know what to do with it yet, especially since he may need Lugia on his side for later. Many of the Unovian legends, especially Terrakion, gossip about how he got his chains. They speculate it was because he was more ruthless than his brother, and needed to be held back at some point, and when that didn't work, Victini sealed both him and Zekrom away.
    Battle Effectiveness : Reshiram never likes to get his feathers dirty, so he prefers to attack from afar. His special attacks are loaded with immense power, and even the slightest burn can cause his opponents massive pain. The only weakness he has is having to land with Roost to regain his strength. He doesn't have a lot of endurance nor a lot of speed, so he goes for the obvious kills to end the fight quickly.
    Special Abilities : As an ancient legend of Unova Reshiram can control the Dragon Force which keeps the land in power. The energy from his tail is heated enough to move the atmosphere and produce heat to change the weather. His fangs can heat up enough to burn a target when he bites. Besides for Ho-Oh, Reshiram holds some of the strongest, most lethal fire attacks ever recorded.
