Description
The Renault FTs in Spanish Service were given a small removable spotlight on the left of the vehicle for traveling in the dark. On the Renault FTs, a black rectangle with a white outline was painted on the left side of the hull with “INFANTERIA №” and the vehicle’s number written on it. On the TSF, this was painted on both sides of the superstructure and an additional “CARRO DE MANDO” (Command Tank) was placed on the front in a similar fashion. The numbers can also be seen on the sides of the suspension beam. The FTs each had a different animal painted on the side of the turret plus their individual unit markings on the rear.
