Description
This is FT number 7 placed on a small incline for photographs at Camp de Beverloo during the Interwar period. The Renault FTs in Belgian service were garrisoned under the control of the infantry with a battalion composed of three companies of eight tanks each, plus a reserve with another 25. These vehicles were in active service until 1938 when they were finally placed in reserve. After the Renault FTs were withdrawn from front line service, some were still used as tractors and as platforms to place Cointet type Anti-Tank barriers.
