Description
The Section Technique de l'Artillerie (STA) had been studying Renault FT Self-Propelled Gun design since May 1918. Only a single prototype was built by Renault and sent to Bourges in late October 1918. By April 1921, all work on Renault FT SPGs would be halted due to unsatisfactory results, mainly due to the vehicle's having low ammunition capacity.
