Some lore!

- First Crusade: Conducted 14 years ago, it was waged against the expansionist eagle kingdoms in the west and proved to be a highly successful campaign.
- Battle of Crosswinds: the second major battle of the First Crusade, in which the hosts of Ser Truscott Homeport, Ser Edwin Boxberry, and Ser Etha Sickles fought a larger eagle host at Crosswind Bridge and decisively defeated it.
- Legacy Dome: A historical hall in Homeport devoted to the history, achievements, and lineage of renowned knights.
- Fourth Crusade/Traitor's Crusade: Conducted 3 years ago, it was waged against two mice kingdoms which seceded from the Conglomerate, transitioning the coalition from the Eighth to Sixth Conglomerate. It was a victory but proved to be bloody and divisive among mice-kind.
- Bas: one of the Median Dominions with a lion-centric population; known for producing warriors, smiths, artisans, and scholars.
- Penroe of Bas/the Iron Lion: once a common foot soldier who rose to prominence in the Median Wars, Penroe since left soldiering and became one of the most sought-after armorers in the Sixth Conglomerate.
- seren: tea sweetened with imported southern honey, prized among the middle and upper class.
- tarran: bitter juice which rodents sometimes drink to rouse themselves in the morning or drive off sleep on long shifts.
- kayas: songbirds native to the Median Dominions.
peros: common bird.
