“Impasse: Redux”

Tyrannosaurus rex, Alamosaurus sanjuanensis, Thoracosaurus neocesariensis. An acrylic painting which I recently finished, featuring an adult male Tyrannosaurus staring down a bull Alamosaurus.

This was an idea I had come up with back at SVP 2015 in Dallas, Texas, and painted in 2018. I had never been really satisfied with that version and decided to revisit the idea recently. I actually have another version of this same idea coming (from a different perspective).

Completed in late June 2020.

Done using acrylics, color pencils, and Photoshop CC.
