“Not Fast Enough”

Alioramus altai, generic ornithomid. An acrylic painting of a male Alioramus carrying off a young ornithomid after running it down.

This, along with my Qianzhousaurus portrait, started off as a pencil and ink drawing in my sketchbook back in early 2020, while I was still going to physical classes prior to the COVID lockdown. I scanned, scaled it up and transferred it to a sheet of mat board, then colored it in acrylics and color pencils.

This will likely end up as part of my upcoming line of tee shirt designs that I am currently working on. Hopefully I can get those done by this summer.

Completed in mid-February 2021.
