"Spelaea"Panthera leo spelaea. A digital painting I did of a European cave lion surveying his territory.
After I finished my Smilodon painting last year, I had a hankering to do another big cat painting. So I set my sights on the European cave lion. I've been meaning to do a painting of this cat for a while now, with the original idea getting scrapped. Then I started a new idea and used a set of oil paint brushes for Photoshop I downloaded not too long ago.
Completed in late March 2017.
Done using Photoshop CS5 and pencils.
