Finally! The end of the settee saga!
I told you it would have a happy ending! Well, Zeb and Mello are happy, Matt has to grin and bear a sharp pain in a tender area and hope his tetanus shot is up to date! Mwaha.
And I realise Mello has got rid of his bandages already - let's pretend that's some kind of biting satire on how quickly he heals in the manga. And not a sign that I actually forgot what I had drawn previously. Yah...

Ah, yes, drawing traditional instead of tablet can definitely account for neater lines! I've got the same trouble...the best tablet picture I've managed at this point is that pic of Matt and Near switching outfits in color.

Yes, it's just so time consuming to draw anything decent with a tablet! I actually drew that seme-Mello ID on a tablet, but I took my time. When I just draw comic stuff, I want to get it down quickly, and then it ends up looking very messy with a tablet!
Your picture with Matt and Near switching looks brilliant, I think just as good as your hand-drawn if I remember correctly and it's the pic I'm thinking of.

XD Sounds like you do the same thing in digital that I do with comics in traditional style--just sit down and draw it before you lose the idea! I draw mine freehand in felt marker, even though I could refine them better if I drew them in pencil first.
