AAAAAAAAAPPLELOOSA!Distances have not been scaled in this map, they are still accurate to the Poster Map. [link]
So it's still left up to the fandom how to account for the distance discrepancies, like how Rainbow Dash can fly from Ponyville to Los Pegasus to Baltimare and back in under a day, yet it's an overnight train-ride to Canterlot and to Appleloosa.
However there has been some projection that has been attempted to counter the appearance in the Poster Map that makes it look like the viewing angle for the Crystal Mountains has been curled back.
The following locations' names are based upon fan conjecture, and may be subject to alteration pending further official information:

There could be other things across the Western Ocean which were unlabeled, and the map is there to provide locational certainties.

Looks pretty good, really helpful for getting a better top-down perspective on it without all the fluff and the fan additions are a nice touch.
