I am in desperate need for ideas for the backgroundWah .. my eyes are so sore
*hint-hint* this took alot longer than I really anticipated
*sighs*
Leitia is a totally original character. I haven't thought much about her attributes and such, but maybe I will develop her character more sometime in the near-future. Or not

I love this!!! And this next bit is just off the top of my head...meh, it could be better, but I digress.
As soon as one stepped into the richly coloured tent, the potential customer could see that the proclaimed Fortune-teller Leitia was not like the many other clairvoyants that clustered randomly throughout the city. For starters, there was little to no incense that tickled the nose to make it sneeze. True, the fabrics draping inside were similar to other fortune-tellers, draped around the space to cast a certain 'mystic' to the art with a paraphernalia of odd trinkets, charms, and stones, and--a staple for all sooth-sayers--there was the classic crystal ball, but all these things were off set by how...informal the announced Leitia was. There were no chairs, no table covered by fabric: instead, a richly colour plush rug was installed--and the fortune-teller had sat herself upon it, with mentioned crystal ball in...hand? It seemed to float above her right palm, giving off a steady red glow. Her clothes seemed to match the sphere, red tones with darker red jewels. A slight mysterious smirk upturned her lips. and she spoke:

. . . WOW! I like! The pose is awesome. . . the coloring is awesome! it is awesome! Maybe you could put like little whipsy thingys in the background and some orbs of light or something, you know. . . to make it all mystical looking or something like that, you know? Unless. . . you havew already colored the background. . . I don't know. . . but that is my two cents worth. . . great job! *high fives*

*Very* nice color and details! For a background...hmmm... all i can think of is pillowy fabrics, sorta like in a harem or something. But personally i like it with a white background. ^_^

Wow, that's really nice. I like the flowing scarfs things. And I think the choice to limit the colors reveals her meditative state. I think too many colors might be too distracting.

It was fun yet also challenging drawing the designs on the scarf. Glad you like them ^_^
I was actually thinking her clothes looked a little bland, but the other colour scheme I had originally had was probably a bit too haphazard.

Eh .. I'd say that the lineart took up about 4/5 of the, say, all-up 5-6 hrs I spent on it. Evidently, I have a big problem with developing inspiration
