Glad you like it! The knight at the top is named Vanguard. He is a noble giant from an order of interdimensional knights called Defenders who has made our Earth his home. He was created for the Champions game setting using the Hero System rules (my friend created him about 20 years ago).

Glad you like it. The one on top is a character named Vanguard, a 10' tall knight-superhero. He was created using the Champions (Hero System) 4th Ed. game setting about 20 years ago.

Awesome. I've been a 3.5 nerd myself, but my Superhero game of choice is the old TSR Marvel Super Heroes. lol

Wow, TSR Marvel definitely takes me back! Yes, a lot of my buddies fell in love with D&D 3.5 too. The halfling on the bottom center (Greyhawk setting) and the cleric of Dol Dorn on the bottom right (Eberron) were created with that system.

Nice Yeah, I have characters of all sorts that are so obscured in how they are built they confuse most D&D players... I even have a few epic levels.

Toryn Frostmourne, Trenton Black, and Kiryu Danyil are a couple of my favourites, thought I've only played Kiryu in one game so far

Though my all time favourite character will always be Nii Kuyoku, because parties always have the most confused reactions to her

A very nice gift for a friend. Would that be a VTM character I spy in the bottom row?

Excellent observation! Yes indeed, that character was created for the World of Darkness setting about 15 years ago. He was created as an above average human who could sense and identify the auras of paranormal beings (vampires, werewolves, mummies, etc.). Hope it brought back some happy game memories for you as well.

Absolutely. I play World of Darkness with a fair amount of regularity, it was my first roleplay setting and will continue to be a favorite. I'm quite surprised that the character would have been a hunter, I was honestly assuming that he was a Brujah vampire.

Funny you should mention that. A lot of our fellow WID players were interested in playing vampires, but we both looked more favorably on the other settings. He created a Hunter and I took to creating a Scottish Fianna werewolf. You can imagine the headaches our game master had trying to figure out settings for all of us to get together without causing our respective elders to have aneurisms (sometimes they did if it furthered the story LOL).
