Description
Inspired by Pathfinder's Jade Regent storyline, the image records the final confrontation between the monstrous Oni known as Kimandatsu and Vangrid Honorbrand, a half-orc paladin/samurai.I tried to convey a mix of Eastern and Western chivalry in the Vangrid character, illustrating the garb and weaponry of both a noble knight and an honorable samurai.

My only critique is the sword is not on fire. Where is the fire?

I thought it would have seemed redundant from an image perspective, especially since the character himself is already wreathed in a corona of holy light.
