Description
To me, this would be the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup of monster fights (two great monsters that fight great together). In the red corner, we have Tiamat -- primordial dragon goddess who, according to D&D lore, is the mother of all evil dragons. And in the blue corner, we have the delightfully belligerent Godzilla -- bastard spawn of the nuclear age and probably the only monster brave/crazy enough to get all up in Tiamat's face(s). Hope everyone has as much fun viewing this piece as I did in creating it.Sketched and rendered in Photoshop and critiques are welcome. Also, I'm curious to see who you think would win in this kind of fight so feel free to leave comments.

Interesting. Though in my opinion comparing Tiamat to a card-creature from Yu-gi-oh is like comparing a siberian tiger to a house-cat.

It could be more in comparison to their worlds. FHD is one of the most powerful cards in the game (as well as one of the strongest Dragon cards, only outmatched by Dragon Master Knight), and Tiamat is no doubt one of the most powerful dragons ever. See the comparison now.

I see the comparison, but in a fight I think that Tiamat would decimate every card-creature that was thrown at her. We are not talking about a summoned monster that can wreak havoc in an arena, we are talking about a dragon (and a goddess no less) whose power and influence can be felt across worlds and entire planes of existence. It would be like me walking up to Thor and saying, "HEY! What the **** are YOU looking at?!"

Sure, every time FHD was seen, it was a virtual world, but if it had been used in a shadow game or with the seal of Orichalcos it would have done some serious damage, plus its original name was five headed GOD dragon.

Actually, the local Archdevil may be a bit teed off if their fight rampages through a city he owns. Then it's a whole load of paperwork, reconstruction, and other assorted logistic-based pain (devils are thorough to a fault) and nobody wants to report to Asmodeus as to why they couldn't safeguard their own dominion. Abyssal demons, on the other hand, would probably just grab some popcorn and/or people and just sit back and watch the show.

Well like I said, nobody but the fiends care if their stuff gets broken. Wouldn't the devils still have to explain something to Asmodeus since he enough tabs that he'd notice that one of the deities he lets in Baator gets into a big fight with something?
I didn't consider what abyssal demons would do since I read that Tiamat seems to stay away from the Abyss. I figure Godzilla going there would more likely get into a fight with Orcus or Demogorgon.

With the size of Tiamat's wings in the background, I guess she is much larger than Godzilla. Also, she has five heads. But Godzilla has that laser breath thing to boot up, not to mention his overall recklessness in taking on other monsters. If he can hold his ground against Ghidorah, then I think he'll have some chance in trying to bring down Tiamat since this whole picture makes me think of Godzilla fighting a more powerful and evil version of Ghidorah.
After all, he has always managed to terrorize for another day.

True, a fight between them would involve two very different styles of combat. On Tiamat's side would be breath weapons, magic, and high intellect and strategy. On Godzilla's side, we have raw power, a healing factor, and pure rage. It would be a great fight to watch (via satellite, of course -- I wouldn't want to be sitting ring-side to that fight).

I actually got to play this out as a kid, by stealing my sister's Tiamat - though I didn't know "that dragon with all the different heads" had a name until many years later.

Your sister had a Tiamat?! How cool that must have been! When I was a kid, I had to resort to having Godzilla attack my sister's Barbie Townhouse (which was hilarious in its own way).
