A piece I've been working on here and there for the past couple weeks. Judging by the eyes I'm guessing Ray is starting to fall to the darkside, while Ren is returning to the light.

I must say, I also have a thing for the scene where the Skywalker family lightsaber flies into her hand. I think a part of the charm was the fact that untill this moment we had sort of no confirmation Rey is going to wield it. It's like a grand finale and a Jedi beginning for her as well (I like the fact we finally have a kickass Jedi heroine now).
Still, the most powerful scene for me was Rey's Jakku intro, especially when we see a glimpse of what her life is like, all that combined with the excellent music just hits ll the buttons. I find it unbelievably sad, somehow, seeing her all alone with such little food, sitting outside in the dessert with a wrecked AT-AT for a house, wearing that X-Wing pilot helmet...

Thanks! I agree, that track when she's introduced is my favourite piece of music from the movie and the amount of characterization and storytelling there- without any dialogue was excellent!

Thanks! Hard to choose from this movie, but my favourite moment is of Rey when the lightsaber flies into her hand. The build up of Kylo trying to take the saber and then the close up of her face, her expression of shock and surprise, the swell of the music and that sound effect right when she catches it, it hits you right in the chest- SO awesome!
