Description
[link]Futuron was a space line introduced around 1987, and was the first successor of the era of classic LEGO Space. With the introduction of Blacktron and Space Police around the same time, Futuron would be seen as the first of many "civilian" space lines that themes like Blacktron would be stealing from or attacking, and that Space Police would be serving and protecting.
As I like to see it, Futuron serves as the main provider of civil services and basic technologies when it comes to space travel, and works even to the day of the modern Space Police line. Though the dress code of full body uniform may not be fully followed. Some might choose simple jackets, like the pilot here, sporting a red jacket with the Classic Space/Futuron logo that is common among today's LEGO City civilian sets.
In respect to the theme, I constructed this fancy looking Space bus. It comes with two propulsion engines, a generator within the back that can be seen with an opening door, and the capacity for eight passengers, though due to how I placed the chairs inside, it might be a bit of a squeeze.
Probably the only major gripe I have is that I didn't have enough window parts in trans-dark blue to follow the Futuron color scheme. So now it kinda looks like a craft that wouldn't be out of place in a Star Wars scene as well.

Ah, very nice. While it doesn't really jump out at me as something Futuron-ish, that doesn't make it any less of an excellent futuristic twist on a bus. Also, great to see that you're uploading pics of your LEGO MOCs. Sadly, I've never really been much of a MOCer, to be honest, but I've always loved seeing other peoples' creations... much like the Daily Missions of LEGO Universe, it's inspiring to see What Will You Make when you Just Imagine...

Reminds me of Star Wars episode II and III with the bus scenes.
