Description
Still the Vorcha to go then I think I'm finally done!I thought it was weird that the Reapers bypassed the Yahg in the game since the other races had already considered them for uplifting so they must have been further along than the evolutionary process than humans were the last time the reapers came around. Seems like bypassing the yahg would have given them ample time to become a viable threat during the next cycle, maybe moreso than the protheans even, given the extreme intellect and strength displayed by the shadow broker. My reaper Yahg has his arms converted into thannix cannons, he'd probably be introduced as a means to combat the Krogan forces on Palaven.

Another perfect concept, and again, another reason I am extremely happy you did these AFTER the game came out... wait... they are making a 4th. OK, seriously, stop giving Bioware ideas!

Have you thought of doing the Mass Age/Dragon Effect crossovers with the reapers and darkspawn as well?

I seem to recall that in ME3 someone mentioned that the Yahg and their home planet were ignored by the Reapers, and that they might be the dominant race in the next cycle.... I guess we see what the Yahg would've been in for had Shepard failed. Awesomely terrifying!

The Reapers don't go after a sentient species until they become a threat by their OWN merit. The Protheans studying the evolutionary course of humans would've been contextually the same as the Salarians planning to "uplift" the Yahg. As for the Yahg that became hyper-intelligent and became the Shadow Broker, that was only because THAT particular specimen of the Yahg species was exposed to the additional "stimuli" from the last Shadow Broker; had it remained on its own planet, it would've taken far longer for the necessary stimuli to "accumulate" before that degree of intellectual evolution could take place. It's similar to how the Krogan didn't split the atom until the Salarians gave them the technology to do so.
That's MY take on this logic, though. The artwork is quite good.

Love this one - but I'd've changed the legs a bit - Yahg are insanely fast and agile, I'd like to see that enhanced in a reaper version.

I love it, well except for giving it thanix cannons(Turian weaponry). Why don't you just give it something like what the Reaper-Rachni have or maybe something like the Reaper Bkackstar; it'd solve the mystery of which of the reaper's troops actually lugged those things around the battlefield.

Good point, however I feel the need to point out that at some point in krogan history one of them actually realised that smashing a giant hammer into the ground summoned what is essentially a worm god. The decided it was a good idea to make a tower so they could do it again becouse that is such a good idea! How any krogan are alive at all is beyond me.

The only possible explanation is that the Krogan are too badass for a giant worm to kill. That, and they can make about, what, a hundred babies a year per Krogan couple? lol

I don't know if semi-sentient species CAN be reaperfied. I mean, yeah, the Rachni were turned but they were intelligent. I didn't see any Varren husks.

I don't see why not. Kelros proves that they are a threat to the reapers and, strictly speaking, they are capable of interplanetary travel, unlike the varen who got about as pets and stow-aways. As for semi-sentient, I didn't think the harvesters were self aware but they got reaperfied. Secondly for all we know kelros is self aware but it just can't or won't cumunicate with us on the basis of it being a 'Worm God'

I believe that the reason why the yahg were passed over was because they aren't a space-faring race. If it was purely a matter of intelligence (or capacity for intelligence), mankind would've been harvested well before the stone age.
Also, it may have been simply too much effort for limited results, considering how powerful the yahg are.

So I've been looking at all of your Reaper variations. Now I'm wondering why Bioware didn't include more. Man, this could lead to some great multiplayer DLC. You should propose that.

I can only think of a few reasons: the first being that Bioware didn't have it in their budget to include the Yagh in the 3rd game. The second being that knowing the Yagh, and their need to control and dominate (socially or physically) coupled with their very short temper, not only would they be overpowered, but I doubt the Reapers would be able to control them completely.
