I'm gonna be honest, this is basically a lightly altered version of J's special edition, what with Spin being his "clone" and all. Spin would be the fast equivalent of J. Chieftain would be the heavy version. Same attacks, but deal far more damage but he is slow in movement and attacks.

I actually never envisioned them being fighters. Back when I played Ouendan I saw them as being items. The item would be the Ouendan logo (or in the EBA's case the star logo). When a player grabs that, the Ouendan/EBA team appear and start to sing and dance and cheer on your character. That character would be temporarily faster and stronger.
Not as exciting as being playable characters, but consider the small fanbase that exists for both games I see a small presence in the game, if there's any.
