Batman and all related characters are the property of DC Comics.

This was inspired by concept art for the video game Batman: Arkham Asylum found in the strategy guide book for it. The book not only included concept art for characters in the game, but also for a lot of characters who didn't appear. And the concept art in the book hinted at what the characters look like when they're not in the Arkham (in other words, more or their classic looks).

Anyway, the concept art for Jonathan Crane's alter ego gave what appeared to be a trench coat for the doctor, with maybe the sleeves ripped off. Anyway, inspired by this, I decided to take another crack at the Scarecrow (I took a crack at him last June).

I was inspired by the designs for The New Batman Adventures and Batman: The Brave and the Bold plus the unused character design for him for The Batman with elements of the actual model for the Arkham Asylum game (yes, that is supposed to be a syringe glove on his hand. )
