Full View is Better. This is a drawing I'd done of an obsecure DC Comics' Batman villain The Wrath. I'd done a journal where I said I'd do a pic of a Batman character The Batman-ized and suggested him.
The Wrath first appeared in 1984 in Batman Special # 1. He was inteded as an Anti-Batman. His origins are similar to Bruce Wayne/Batman's, but with several differences.
As Bruce's parents were rich people shot by a mugger, Warth's were burglar accidently shot by a cop (ironically, James Gordon, who'd become Batman's ally and Gotham City's Police Commissioner); Bruce dedicated his life to his cruasde for justice, Wrath opted to go against the law; Bruce became a vigilante who loathes guns, Wrath an assassin who has no problem with guns.
Ultimately, Batman and Wrath confront each other and Wrath died in a fire he'd caused after he found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman, attacked Alfred, and took Leslie Thompkins hostage.
The story is no longer canon due to Crisis on Infinite Earth, Batman: Year One (Which had Gordon transfer from Chicago shortly before Bruce became Batman) and Batman: Year Two (Pre-CoIE, Leslie Thompkins didn't know Bruce was Batman, that was a Post-Crisis notion first introduced in Y2). That said, both Batman Begins and The Batman versions of Gordon hailed from Gotham (In the Toon Zone forums talkback thread from Night and The City, when asked about the similarilies in the man from the flashback Traction, Producer/Character Design Matt Matsuda did admit that, though a coincidence, that like in Begins, the officer was Gordon).
The idea of Anti-Batman, though was used before Wrath's appearance (Killer Moth in his original, Cameron van Cleer incarnation prior to the 90s Drury Walker retcon who'd later become Charaxes) and since (Bane and JLA villain Prometheus, who has a similar origin to Wrath's)

Wrath, in the show, was terrible. I hated that episode entirely. In my eyes, each of the villains in Batman is the anti-Batman. Joker is comedic murder to batman's tragic survival, Two-face is coldly fair chance to Batman's justice, Prometheus is anti-law to Batman's law, Killer Moth had the gadgets to counter Batman's, Catman hunted him like he hunts crime, Deadshot is a billionaire who uses his skills for himself while Batman uses his for others, the list goes on!
Wrath, in the show, was an attempt to be all of these things at once, all the while being "kid-safe". He ended up being sympathetic to people who would kill him for fun, being mad for having parents in Jail despite the fact that he could visit them, and/or have them broken out by bribing a guard, being a millionaire despite the fact that his his money was left to him by thief parents and would nodoubt be investigated and confiscated, and not killing Batman despite the fact that he could buy enough weapons to turn Batman into a bullet ridden, smoking pile of body parts that's been blown up, Being on equal footing with Batman and not cheating by shooting and blowing him up.

Nice take on the Wrath, different from his cartoon version, but better. I just wish they used the classic Wrath on the show rather than rip-off who had claimed the name.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, they could've done a better job in adapting Wrath for the show.

True. It wasn't totally anti-Batman, it was more of just another vigilante gathering his own version of Team Penguin... err, Wrath. I did like the idea of Scorn, though, and if they used the original wrath with more of a Jason Todd-type for Scorn, they would have been fine.

Good point. The last Batman Confidential arc featured the idea of a Wrath-Robin.

Hey, I just tried to stick closely to the design regarding the W and colored. Besides, doesn't Magneto have purple in his costume?
