Description
The title is supposed to be "Ned McDodd is a Little Bit Odd" but apparently I am not free to express my Seussical rhythmaticness so I had to shorten it a wee bit. I hope it still works okay.

This is my first attempt at drawing my favorite character from the movie, Horton Hears A Who. I formerly believed his name was Ned O'Malley, however, when I saw the movie yesterday, I noticed that the narrator said his name was "McDodd" when Ned walked out to get the paper and inadvertently spill his coffee. Ned and Steve Carell (his voice) are both awesome and this movie was/is surprisingly amazing. So if you haven't seen it already... What're you waitin' for?! I drew this with a regular HB pencil... yup that's about it. I am peeved that my scanner cut off the tips of his fingers because I was really proud of his hands... oh well it's still dandy. I also really like how his mayoral pin turned out, I was worried the detail would get all skewed when I scanned it.

Okay a story for y'all: Last night when I was ushering for this fundraiser we had at our town theatre, I was introduced to the auctioneer for the evening. His last name was Wolter and he had a gold pin on his suit jacket with a "W" on it. If I hadn't been worried that he would think I was insane, I probably would have said something like, "I'mtalkingtotheMAYOR!!!!" reminiscent of Horton's line, or something else like that. I just thought that was so cool. I bet he could sell it on eBay if he wanted to.

"Hey, hon, did you ever get the feeling that you were being watched... and that maybe that thing watching you is... uhhhhaahhhhuuhhhhmmmmmaaa... Giant Elephant?"
