Description
Monument Valley during sunset in Arizona/Utah.Unfortunately, I botched most of my Monument Valley pictures. This was one of the few that I could save by doing a B&W conversion.

You see sooooo many Arizona pictures in color that you get kind of bored with them (even though the colors are great). It's actually VERY refreshing to see a B&W of Monument Valley, and I think the shot itself is terrific

This is great! was it the shadow that ruined your shots?

This is so beautiful... if you really "botched" the rest of your shots, it surely must be worth it for this one.

i was just in arizona, so i know how it feels to be surrounded by these giant anamolies. great capture, and i love how you applied it to b&w, very ansel adams-esque. great work.

its pretty good. just feels like its lacking something. maybe better use of the foreground. the half-bush in the bottomleft looks awkward in this scene

I like the balance of the shot. The blown sky is a bit hard to look at. Sorry you had problems with your shots... thats a bummer.

The 17 mm gives the real feeling of space which is emphasize by the low point of view. Nice work on the picture on the upper right and left side. I really like this composition. Well done
