I got this shot while taking a series of long exposure water shots at Hatchers Pass, Alaska. After hiking around in the woods looking for a good spot to park my tripod, I finally came across a clearing and almost dunked myself when I went to set up my tripodCamera - Nikon D70

Ok now this shot is just plain cool, AWESOME colors and great balance--love how the blues of the water compliment the browns and greys of the rocks.... INSTANT FAV!!! nice camera as well

The colors in this shot are outstanding. The lichens are great, and the motion capture cool. I like it! Definately a fav!

Ooh, gorgeous. The water looks like some soft, blue pillow. And I love the different colors of the rocks.
Another thing the water reminds me of is clouds. Sort of white and fluffy. Amazing how you can make it look like that.

This picture is so wonderful! The silky look of the water floating across the stones is so nice! And the textures on the stones build such a nice contrast to the soft look of the water! I think this picture was really worth almost dunking yourself in the water !

Nope, but I've been meaning to order one. I just ordered an Infared and a polarizer, but not a neutral density filter. Its the next thing on my list

lol! I agree with you there!! Sometimes a title just pops into my head that is perfect.. but sometimes like my "Grandpa Ford" I cant think of anything! n the photo gets the oddest title.. lol
