7988 B.C.: The Fall of the Arkeyans
At the distant edge of the universe lies Skylands, a world of wonder and adventure. Many eons ago, a race of robotic creatures called the Arkeyans had conquered Skylands. The true origins of the Arkeyans are lost in the mists of time. All that was known was that they once protected Skylands, but began advancing faster than any other race in Skylands. Combing Magic and Technology, many Arkeyans believed themselves to be the rightful rulers of Skylands. Some stood against their power-hungry brethren, but (due to most good Arkeyans playing Roboto-Ball, a sport that usually ended with the balls blowing up) The war-driven Arkeyans soon outnumbered the peaceful ones. Their reign came to an end thanks to the first Skylanders team, the Giants. In an epic battle, the Giants defeated the Arkeyan King and disabled his powerful “Iron Fist of Arkus.” The countless robots soon deactivated and the fist was locked away. But the Giants' act of bravery carried a heavy price, and they were swept from Skylands, arriving on Earth as shrunken statues, where they remained buried for 10,000 long years.
Circa 989 B.C.:
The Relic items are created.
987 B.C.: The Great Kalos War
Three thousand years ago, a war broke out between Kalos and another country. This long conflict was drawn out and many lives were lost. People treated Pokémon with special powers as mere tools in their conflict, so they gathered lots of Pokémon, including Pokémon with unique powers. In order to emerge victorious, the soldiers believed that they needed even more powerful Pokémon. During the war, a Floette was forcefully taken from a king named AZ. He loved his Floette, which he had received from his late mother, but it became just another sacrifice in the war. When AZ received the body of his beloved Pokémon some time later, he was grief stricken. AZ built a machine to revive the Pokémon. He succeeded, giving both of them eternal life, but was unable to overcome his despair. Turning his machine into the “ultimate weapon,” he destroyed both sides of the conflict and ended the war. His Floette, disgusted with the fact that the machine was powered by the life energy of other Pokémon, left him. AZ's younger brother, who was once full of greed but realized the error of his ways, sought to make amends by burying the weapon, in an attempt to prevent it from ever being used again.
The blast from the weapon was so big, it created a rift between time, and space, resulting in two separate Timelines. One where Mega Evolution Exists, and One where Mega Evolution doesn't exist. This timeline follows the one where Mega Evolution exists.
981 B.C.: The Darkest Day
Also 3,000 years ago, Eternatus awoke and attempted to stay alive by absorbing Galar's energy, causing a red light to appear. This was the Darkest Day of Galar. This phenomenon, in the form of a black storm, caused Pokémon to Dynamax and Gigantamax. However, they went berserk in the process, almost destroying the region. The event ended when Eternatus was defeated by the duo Zacian and Zamazenta.
Melmetal is worshipped by ancient humans for its ability to create metal from nothing.
489 B.C.:
The Relic Castle is built.
The Dragonspiral Tower is known as Unova's oldest structure, though its age is unstated.
c. 301 B.C.-699 A.D.: An ancient society called the Celestica people lived in the Sinnoh region. They worshiped Arceus and built many structures which can still be found as ruins in the region in modern times, such as Solaceon Ruins, Snowpoint Temple, and Spear Pillar.
4 B.C.: Hoenn is plagued by meteor showers. A meteor turns the homeplace of the Draconid people into Meteor Falls.
The world overflowed with natural energy which Groudon and Kyogre, in their primal forms, fought over. They ravaged the earth and were only calmed by Rayquaza after the Draconid people summoned it using a wish on a meteor at Meteor Falls. The people of Hoenn begin to revere Rayquaza as a savior.
11 A.D.: Conkeldurr is said to have taught humans how to make concrete using centrifugal force.
