Instructions
For Portable
1. Extract the contents of this download directly into your foobar2000 folder.
For Standard
1. Extract to "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\foobar2000\\"
1a. Also extract the "Configuration" folder to "C:\\users\\appdata\\roaming\\foobar2000\\"Β Β
2. Install the provided font located in skins->Zetro->font (only if you do not have Segoe UI)
Make sure to look in the provided Help folder for more instructions. (The help files were made for an older version of Zetro but are still applicable)
If you want credit for your image, just say so
If you want an image removed, you can say that too

Never mind I figured it finally. I had to change Search In > Playlist to Playlist (Inline) instead. It being on just Playlist by it's default would do the search then once song is found make the entire playlist disappear except for that song. The only way I could figure out how to resolve that annoyance is to chose another playlist from my custom Playlist Manager button and back to the one I had before the search.
I also notice that whatever you did, it loads the albums a lot faster then all the previous versions. Almost no lag. This is nice. Thanks again for your time, work, and sharing this, AnonymousGrafix

I've added wildcard support for a next release that will allow the use of any image format and should speed things up more since the skin will be layering fewer images

Wishlist/Possible Improvement:
Add an "Item Detail" panel on the menu (ex. shown in link:Β i.imgur.com/A4oWfl1.jpg)
- Pressing the arrow button to under "songs" to see what is being played gets annoying from time to time
- Under "songs" the currently played song is not updated automatically (i.e. you have to press the arrow button to find the next song)
- When doing other stuff, its not possible to know what song is currently playing.

If you stare at the foobar yeah I could see it as a problem. You could do a small relief if you don't already know. Step 1: Click on the gear looking icon and go Library > Config > Columns UI > Notification Area > Turn on Click on Always show icon, Minimize to icon, Show now playing sub-menu icon shortcut menu, that's it. If that's not enough there are other programs you could use to like using Rainmeter and getting their CAD plugin specifically for foobar and using this skin poiru.deviantart.com/art/Soitaβ¦

I've installed portable foobar and the skin, but it keeps telling me to turn off safe mode, however it is already turned off

I can't reproduce this. Do other skins that require the wsh panel cause this message?
Try removing the foo_uie_wsh_panel_mod.dll.cfg file located in the configuration folder inside of your foobar install. There really is no reason that it should not be accommodating your input. I know avast antivirus blocks the running of scripts.

You can try to install foobar (in portable mode) in a new location to ensure that it is a clean install. If this fails let me know and I will send you my install. If that doesn't work then there is most certainly a conflict with something on your system, most likely an overly aggressive antivirus

I think this skin looks amazing, but I can't manage to install it. I have the latest version of foobar (1.3.6) and as I wrote in the first comment, I did exactly the same as the guy in the video I posted. I think that either there is something wrong the download, or I do something wrong. Please, please help me

This skin apply best in portable foobar2k . You have to installed portable foobar2000 then you coppy all folder in this skin to the folder. hope it helpful to you

Thank you! How could I know that all I had to do is download Foobar2000 in portable mode! It worked!! I copied all the folders in this skin into the Foobar folder, and then I started Foobar. And it worked! I am very grateful for your help. I could never have made it work without you, I had never heard about the portable mode before

I have a Level 42 - Heaven In My Hands folder with Artwork
It is simply not picking up the folder. It picks up every other folder.
What suggestions does anyone have?
I can play the songs in the folder from the playlist file in the folder.

I have included wild card support for the next release. Keep in mind however that this will not make the player transparent as there is also a dark background behind the images to give the brightness and dimming effect. You can use windows UI hacks to create the glass effect though(not in windows 8)

It was having errors because I tried using a picture from the old version... It would be really great if I could use any picture I wanted. The pictures you've supplied are great don't get me wrong, but would be a nice feature.Β

You can use any picture you want. All you need to do is replace the ones found in skins->Zetro->backgrounds with any .jpg named 1-20. I will be adding wildcard support in the next release which will allow you to use any image format; .gif, .png, .bmp, etc.

Unless you are on Windows XP, it's no longer needed. I have changed the rating stars as to not need the font that was included. The only font that is being used now is Segoe UI

love that skin! I have little problem with language change for artist bio. I have changed last fm server language in settings, but it is still displayed in english. Any idea how to fix that?Β

The artist bio info doesn't come from last.fm in spite of it saying so. Last.fm limits the text you can fetch from their servers so the bio is from echonest, which is presently English only

that's weird, cuz I've installed the same artist bio plugin previously in foobar and it worked correctly in Polish.
I have also no rating stars visible

That plugin is not being used for the info, it is a script which is more current and therefor not affected by last.fm limiting what you can fetch from their site.
To rate songs you must right click on the song->Playback Statistics->Rating. The ratings are stored in a file inside your foobar one instead of adding it to the file directly.

There is no need to add a splitter. You can just add the visualization you want to use but you must declare it's positioning and size or else it will take up the entire window. Right click on the sidebar, select Splitter Settings... and have a look at how I have done it with either Volume, Seekbar, Playback Order or Menu.
Right click on a song you want to rate->Playback Statistics->Rating. This can be done on any of the playlist views.

Beautiful Skin. In fact..This is the only skin I find acceptable for foobar.
That being said, I'm having 2 small issues. The Library wont load a specific album, and one of the albums in the library refuses to load cover art(despite the cover art showing under songs/album/artist tab)....
If you have any ideas why this might be happening I'd be eternally grateful...you have no idea how long this has been bothering me.

That can happen to a lot of things for one reason I can think of, the folder or the audio files could have symbols in them that are unreadable for foobar. It's happened to me a few times with MP3Gain not being able to read russian letters for example.

I greatly appreciate your reply, however, I know for a fact that the album in question is not in any letters other than the standard english letters.
The file format is in flac, but I don't see any obvious reason why it wouldn't be read(Almost all of my albums are in flac).
The album which refuses to add photo art in the "library" subsection of the skin is in mp3. I don't know if this narrows down any potential issues at all. All help is appreciated.Β

Can You Tell Me How to Install Zetro with Foobar?

Simply install the latest foobar2000 anywhere as portable and extract the contents of Zetro 2.9.rar to the installation folder. Then start up foobar and select Columns UI, you're pretty much done if you don't plan on adding any of your own customization.

Thank you so much for your good work and excellent design. Β Would it be possible to fix the following:
1) grouping of the "songs" window: Β in artist view I get duplicate entries of the artist, one with the name doubled, for example:
- Emiliana Torrini, 20 tracks
- Emiliana Torrini, Emiliana Torrini 15 tracks
2) scrolling of the "songs" window: if I use touchpad gestures to scroll, it is extremely slow and keeps going for a long time even after I have stopped scrolling. Β The scrollbar that used to be there did a better job. Β If the scrolling cannot be speeded up, please bring back the scrollbar, so we can browse.
3) refreshing of all the "now playing" windows: if I change the selection from album to songs, etc. the background is just black, but does not keep displaying the artist.
4) scrolling of the "library" window: touchpad scrolling does not work at all. Β The scrollbar below works great, but it is so tiny and hard to hit.
Wishlist:
1) some sort of library browsing view, which allows me to narrow down by genre or folder with the genre or folder selection on the left, and the library window showing only the selected genre or folder.
2) direct tag editing, especially the rating: if I click on the stars, to automatically save the rating to file
3) reading the rating from the file directly, rather than having to first "import playing statistics from file"
4) a setting that automatically syncs and displays the now playing song, rather than having to press on the new arrow in the left top of the songs window.
That said, you did an excellent job with this, better than most other foobar skins I have tried.

1) Those are not duplicates, they are just not grouped together. Right click on the playlist and select "Group/Sort by". The duplicate name thing is because of the metadata, seems like you have Artist and Album Artist as the same value.
2)The scroll bar IS still there. Just press the arrow button on the far right of the black bar that sits atop of the "songs" views
3)You mean when "Artist" mode is selected as your background? If there is no artist art found it will not display anything but the skin will download it in a few seconds(if last.fm has one available). Restarting the song should display it from that point on.
4) I meant to make it bigger for touch, that's my mistake. I will fix it in the next update.
Wishlist:
1)This is already possible. The library panel creates a playlist called "Media Library" select that and the go to the songs view. The track will be grouped and sorted.
2)Tagging can be done with foobar, right click on a song and select Properties. You can also choose Playback stats->Rating for to rate songs.
3)I don't like embedding things into the audio file so I prefer foobar's method instead
4)I'm not sure what you mean here. It is focused when you first play the song. Do you want the track info always displayed? That would need to be added outside of the playlists(which is possible)

Re. 1) artist grouping: the Group by/Sort by selection is Artist.
I get 2 groups for many artists, even though Artist and Album Artist are the same. For example 15 tracks display under the Group "Sia, Sia" and another 10 under "Sia." Β It could possibly have to do with having some files in mp3 and some in m4a file format. Β They don't appear to be grouped together.
Re. 3) It doesn't matter what I select. Β When the Artist picture is displayed as background, it doesn't remain there. Β If I flip to the Song view, I get a black background behind the song area. The only tab which consistently displays the Artist picture as background appears to be the lyrics view.
Re. Wishlist 4) The first time I switch to the Songs view and Album tab, it automatically scrolls to the song that is playing. Β But when it shuffles to the next song, it does not automatically scroll to that song in the Album tab. Β I have to manually click on the little arrow left of the Album tab.
It would be nice, if the display would jump automatically to the song that is currently playing.

1)No, the file format shouldn't affect the sorting. Make sure all tracks have the artist spelled the exact same way. Also, it might show twice if you have values for artist and album artist. If everything is the same and it still will not sort the way you want, try removing that artist from your playlist and then drag all the song back into foobar.
3)The background changes to match the artist of the playing song so it will change to a new artist if the song is by one. Al the tabs are drawn on top of it so if one shows, they should all show. IF you find that not to be the case then I would suggest reinstalling the skin because the settings of the panels might be off.
4)That's actually a foobar setting and not the skin. Go to the menu button (the right most of the play buttons)->Playback and select "Cursor follows playback"

It should be showing the artist image, hit the refresh button as it probably hadn't been downloaded yet. If you would rather album art(folder.jpg) be displayed; right click inside of the "Title" view-> Settings...->Script and Track list tabs. Find the Art section in the code and add this bit to the end of it

Awesome theme!
However, when I search, how do I get back to showing my whole library? It seems to make everything that wasn't in the search criteria disappear, and I can only get them back by re-adding the directory.
Also, the screen appears to be cut off on the right slightly, as can be seen in the taskbar (image:Β imgur.com/ui6ASPp)
I also get error codes for all the bits by Marc2003 and also the album cover flow thing.
Lastly, and this may be a dumb question, how do I get my artist art to just display album art?
