Great tutorial! Only problem is you might get a cloud "too bright" with some sky colours, if you know what i mean... What i did was use a brush over the cloud with the sky colour and mode set to "colour".
But great tut nonetheless! easy to follow and great results ^_^

i dont get how im the only person who cant make a damn cloud like this
prolly cus i mess with the exsposer and stuff do you have any idea what you had that set to and rate on the smudge tool

Ah, I just used the default rate/exposure/etc.
Try to not overdoing the smudge O: that might help

I figured out that cirrus clouds are actually pretty easy. You only really need the smudge tool.
Make a white blob. Then you do a combination of smudging some blue onto the white and smudging the white onto the blue.
