No offense but I don't help people who use the English version of PMDe with this texture issue as you have to go to a menu and add it to make it appear but it's not in the same place as the latest versions of PMDe.

Good luck, you can try to look through PMDe-views menu for an 'add texture' option or anything with texture/picture.

I recently downloaded a Sakura from Naruto character model and all of her textures load fine EXCEPT for her toenails, which appear black. I opened it up in PMD editor and found the same problem. I double-checked the .png file which shows her feet, which look normal. I can change the colors of any other part of the model except for the toenails. What's going on? I have the english version of PMD Editor and MMD v.739.

I am sorry, I don't help people with an outdated version of PMDe as it is useless compared to the newer ones. (+ A lot of things have changed since 0.0.6.3.)

I downloaded the newest version and still have the same problem. Here is the link to the model I downloaded. [link]

Even in her screen-shot you can see the problem.

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to Maikeru212 [2012-02-02 07:46:19 +0000 UTC]

The problem is that her toe nails do not exist, the verts that are suppose to cover that area are missing.

You're probably right. I have no idea about what goes into the modeling part, but I let the owner know. Thanks for the help!

Yw, it might be a ripping problem but the ares of the toenails are missing.

Is there any advice for someone who is having problems as far as getting color to show after renaming?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to DeutschlandLudwig [2012-01-13 14:05:30 +0000 UTC]

Make sure they are in the same folder, the names for the file and layer are the same.

The box where textures go is named 'tex' if you have the layers in the non-MMD view open.

Prussia-Awesome-Gil [2011-10-11 19:16:05 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I have a small question.

When I open up a model in PMD (Specifically my Italy one), all the textures load properly and he looks fine. But when I go to open him in MMD his whole entire outfit is brown for some reason and I don't know why. All the textures have their same name (And Color) and have been untouched but they wont load properly. Any idea on how I can fix this?

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to Prussia-Awesome-Gil [2011-10-12 14:15:37 +0000 UTC]

What version of MMD do you use?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Prussia-Awesome-Gil In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-14 19:16:26 +0000 UTC]

English Mutli Model MMD.

Direct X version or not? (There are two multi models versions, one with direct x one without.Direct X supports some more textures.)

Prussia-Awesome-Gil In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-15 00:59:21 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I just have the normal Multi Model. I just found the download for the DirectX version if you think I should try that -sorry it took a bit just got back-

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to Prussia-Awesome-Gil [2011-10-15 07:12:03 +0000 UTC]

Yes, try the direct X version.

Prussia-Awesome-Gil In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-15 17:22:41 +0000 UTC]

Ahh ty I tried it and all the textures showed ^^ Oh, and with a little experimenting I edited an Italy model and tried to make my OC. It actually turned out pretty well. Thanks for the tuts and help ^^ -I might upload his picture soon-

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to Prussia-Awesome-Gil [2011-10-15 17:38:45 +0000 UTC]

Good to know.
But do not distribute your OC, the modeler who made Italy requests no secondary distribution.

Hey sorry to bother you but when i open a model in PMD editor it just appears black? if i change the colour (but i cant see what it looks like on the model) and save it then open it in miku miku dance. i can see the colours perfcetly fine. whats going on T.T Btw im using fusion

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to SorrowZoura [2011-10-10 05:16:58 +0000 UTC]

You are either missing something or your computer can't handle PMDe, try downloading other versions.
If no version will work then chose wire mode 3 (wire2).

If by 'fusion' you mean 'multy model'....

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SorrowZoura In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-10 07:57:09 +0000 UTC]

No i meant i have fusion which is a software to run windows on an imac computer (this maybe the problem xD) but i do have Multi mode Miku thing but... what do you mean Wire mode 3?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to SorrowZoura [2011-10-10 08:56:41 +0000 UTC]

Listen, you seam like a nice person and all but PMDe is not meant to work with macs.

It's possible ti view only the outer-lines of the model but a mac can't do that.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SorrowZoura In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-10 09:53:53 +0000 UTC]

No MMD is not on the mac itself it is in widnows which i have installed into the imac lol

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to SorrowZoura [2011-10-10 11:22:47 +0000 UTC]

In that case, it might be the system requirements, they should be on VPVP Wiki.

SorrowZoura In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-10-10 16:37:19 +0000 UTC]

This helps me with nothing! They're already in english, and I have the right filenames in the correct spots, but it still doesn't show up!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Antiqu-Bakery In reply to Diam0ndchan [2011-04-06 09:25:28 +0000 UTC]

Are the textures messed up on an original model or an edit?

If it is an original model I'd advise you to change from MMD v5 to v7.

If it is an edit you might have...:
a)... messed up the UV mapping.
b)... sepereated the pmd/x file and it's textures from the same folder.
c)... dited the textures of a pmd/x file thatmhas subfolders. (example: C'Mell)
d)... you might be trying to add the texture to a wrong layer.

If the pmd/x file sill wont work then I'll try to think less-common things.

Diam0ndchan In reply to Antiqu-Bakery [2011-04-06 09:38:06 +0000 UTC]
