Tutorial about drawing a rock. It was once submitted into my scraps, now completed with some text.
Maybe someone might find it useful ^^
PS: sorry that this drawing looks that rough, all steps for tutorial were drawn in about 10 minutes

yes, it should work with ice as well, only colors should be different, and maybe a nice white outline ...

Rocks are not as bad! ^^ (especially when you're not going to draw them super realistically

this will come in very handy when drawing backgrounds

I'm glad to hear that ^^ Personally I do not use burn/dodge tools too often, sometimes use them for hair, but it's because I can't got good effect with them for me it's easier to paint as it's visible on the tut

Rocks are not as bad as they seem to be ^^ Troubles appears when you try to draw them realistic (personally I can't do that, especially without good reference

the only thing I cant draw without a ref is a front view horse face, horse galloping or trotting, trees, and, dogs (yet I can draw wolves? )

Drawing without reference is usually much more difficult I don't like to draw even horses without a good photo
