True. It IS technically possible. However, there are over 400 billion stars, each with its own potential planetary system. in our galaxy alone. Out of 100 billion estimated galaxies in the observable universe. Which is not even 1/10th of the ACTUAL universe. Meaning that it is statisically IMPOSSIBLE for life to exist only on this one planet. It MUST exist somewhere else as well. And if it doesn't, then that's the most depressing thing we could possibly ever discover.
