As Amber and Yippers make their way through the passage, Amber notices the phoenix slowing down and starting to come down to the ground. Amber could see the bright yellows and oranges of the phoenix, she could almost feel the warmth of the bird infront of her.
She heard Bullet call out to the phoenix, but Yippers growled sharply in return to silence the mastiff
"Phoenix-" Amber breathed in wonder. The phoenix stood infront of Amber now. Her bright colors practically glowing, the warmth emitting from the bird was wonderful, Amber felt as if she were standing next to a radiator.
Amber was taken aback by how big the bird was, she had heard the phoenix was big but she was practically the size of Amber herself! She supposed it made sense, given this was the phoenix that helped Nebulruffs take down the dragon supremacy all those centuries ago. Amber bowed her head in respect as the phoenix stood proud over her.
"Oh brother." Bullet said in a snarky tone. The phoenix shot a look at Bullet and screeched at him. She turned back to look at Amber and carefully plucked one of her feathers, gingerly handing it to Amber. She plucked another feather and handed it to Yippers, who was keeping a very careful watch on Bullet.

"Thank you, this is the greatest treasure I could ever ask for." Amber responded, she had so many questions and stories to tell the phoenix, but she knew now was not the time. The phoenix nodded her head and opened her wings, preparing to leave.
"Wait! please- phoenix, I need to know..." Amber called, the phoenix turned to her quizzically "Will I ever see you again?"
The phoenix paused for a second, and looked off into the distance, towards the Nebulruff town, and nodded her head.
Without a moments notice, the phoenix took off into the blazing sunset, sending a flurry of dust and pebbles where she once stood. Amber stood mesmerized by the experience, she gently touched the bright feather in her paws, holding it close to her.
"Woow that was somethin'" Bullet sarcastically remarked. "Now if youre done ogling at a chicken, you just let go one of my lifes greatest works to capture! I created a spell that made that net impenetrable, it was supposed to cast a magical barrier around the phoenix that wouldnt allow her fire to burn the net!" Bullet pushes himself onto the ground and walks towards Amber
Yippers bolts up and bites down on Bullets neck, holding him in place
"Dont move." He growls through gritted teeth. Bullet freezes in place but stares at Amber.
"So you know a lot about magic?" Amber questioned
"Ive been around here and there, dabbled in different kinds, so what?"
"I heard creating your own original spells is very difficult..." Amber paused for a moment, thinking at what Bullet had said.

She couldnt let Bullet go free, he might hurt the phoenix or work on perfecting the spell. She noticed Yippers was getting exhausted from being in his dragon form for so long, he was losing his energy and focus. Amber held the feather tight in her grip and announced loudly
"Well then, Bullet, youre coming with us back to the town!"
The sun was setting behind them, Amber and Yippers had to go back home before it got dark out. Amber decided to form into her dragon form and let Yippers rest on her back as the trio made their way to the nebulruff town.
The events of today re-imagining themselves in Ambers mind as she tried to make sense of everything that had happened. Who knew a day could pack so much! And on top of it, Amber got the best thing in the world, a real phoenix feather hand given to her by the phoenix herself.

Here is a continueation of last months event!!

THIS EVENT ENDS ON OCTOBER 1ST!
this is the LAST Follow the Phoenix event!! let me know if you liked this style of having a story for events like this, did it overstay its welcome? should it have been longer? tell me what you think! It was an experiment to see how the community would react to a story based event like this!

either way, this wont be the last time youll see the phoenix! You might see her again later on this year!

make sure to read everything below to figure out what you have to do!

FOR THIS EVENT YOU CAN:
- Draw/write your Nebulruff getting their most desired item, this does NOT have to have correlation with the phoenix! (star tokens, items, a lawn mower?? sure,, ok...)
- draw/write your nebulruff after the adventure. They had a big day! what would your Nebulruff do after this event? chill in their home? try to track down the phoenixes every move? sleep?

PRIZES
this event had big bonuses if you participated in all three events!
show proof of all three entries, and you will receive 1,000 star tokens, and a bonus gift! This gift will not be revealed until later on this year, but i promise you, youll want to have it! If for some reason you want to giveaway your bonus gift, you can regift it to other users.

if you did not participate in any/all the phoenix events, you can win anywhere from 200 - 500 star tokens and possibly a small item from the store!

RULES:
You may only submit TWO images/literatures for this event!
you can NOT submit event art for star tokens! your reward is whats listed!
literature must have proper grammar (no b4, h1 th3r3) and be at least 500 words or more

Q: Do I need a nebulruff to participate?
A: no! you can use any nebulruffs from NebulruffsMasterlist or our mascots

Q: Do I need to copy the phoenix's design from the promotional image?
A: no, as long as the phoenix is red, yellow, and/or orange, you are good!

Q: Can I do writing for this event?
A: yes! minimum word count of 500 words and it needs to use proper grammar (no b4, gr8, 1 l0v3 y0u)

Q: can I do traditional art?
A: yes!
