Description
Ever since she was a little pup, Ambers always loved the phoenix. Shes studied day and night about the mythical bird. A phoenix is an avian creature thats a bird, they can breath fire and are bright yellows and oranges. When a phoenix dies, its body crumbles into ash and it is later reborn of fire and lives on once more. their feathers are one of the most sought after items. There is only one known phoenix in existence in the Nebulruffs world, legend has it that the phoenix existed and lived through to revolution of Nebulruffs vs dragons, many, many years ago.

"Im gonna find a phoenix!" Amber said excitedly "Theres been a few sightings through the rocky passage, come on Yippers, lets go!" Amber pushed on
"Amber, where are we gonna find a phoenix? what will you even do when you find her?" Yippers protested
"Well if i find her I want to tell her how much I look up to her, I dont need anything special, just getting a chance to talk would be a dream!" Amber responded
Yippers shook his head and continued onward with his friend.

Up in the sky, Amber could have sworn she saw a flash of orange
"Yippers, did you see that!?" Amber whispered excitedly
"No, I have hair in my face."
"Lets go check it out!" Amber darted on the uneven terrain of the rocky passage, she tripped over a rock and just barely caught herself before she faceplanted.
"Become a dragon, Amber, we can fly over this mess!" Yippers exclaimed, about to form into his noodle dragon form
"No!" Amber called out hurridely "She might be scared of dragons! Remember, she lived through the big war between Nebulruffs and dragons, its her power that helped us win!" Amber hastily explained
"Fine..." Yippers replied with annoyance

The duo run down the jagged and unkempt passage, Amber was getting tired but she knew she had to keep pushing on. Just above the sky, she noticed something bright and orange
"Oh my stars..." Amber said in disbelief
Infront of her very eyes, was a flying phoenix, much faster than she ever anticipated.
with new fervor, Amber felt much stronger and faster and ran like she'd never had before!

**JULY EVENT**
Yes it is here! The Nebulruffs july event: follow the phoenix!
before I begin, a HUUUUUGE special thanks to Galaxirr for drawing up the promotional art!! go follow her, shes the co-owner of the species and very talented!

THIS EVENT ENDS ON AUGUST 1ST!!!
This will be the very first STORY LINE EVENT!! Meaning the next few events will continue this plot!

make sure to read everything below to figure out what you have to do!

FOR THIS EVENT YOU CAN:
- draw your nebulruffs chasing/finding a phoenix! How do they react to seeing this mythical creature right in-front of their eyes?
- draw your nebulruffs preparing for the journey! Its a long and hot journey ahead of them, do they pack lightly or over- pack?

This event will grant you the achievement: Phoenix's feather

this achievement will be put in your Nebulruffs masterlist, which means there are a few rules!

RULES:
You may only submit TWO images for this event!
you MUST link your nebulruffs masterlist entries that you used in order to get the achievement! If you do not do so you will not get the achievement (youd have to PM/tag me with the updated ML's of the nebulruffs used)
you can NOT submit event art for star tokens! your reward is the achievement!

A: no! you can use any nebulruffs from NebulruffsMasterlist or our mascots

Q: Do I need to copy the phoenix's design from the promotional image?
A: no, as long as the phoenix is red, yellow, and/or orange, you are good!

Q: Can I do writing for this event?
A: yes! minimum word count of 500 words and it needs to use proper grammar (no b4, gr8, 1 l0v3 y0u)

Q: can I do traditional art?
A: yes!

Q: I cant find my Nebulruffs masterlist link!
A: it is your job to keep track of your masterlist links. On the masterlist I sort Nebulruffs by color, choose the folder with the color and you should easily find them! If your nebulruff is not on the masterlist, please ping NebulruffsMasterlist
