First all of, I've never seen an entire episode of Doctor Who in my life, HOWEVERRR, I feel I can still comment and appreciate good art. With that said, the woman looks like a cross between Amy Adams and Nicole Kidman, no? ;'0
Also I find it an interesting choice to create contrast with the a darker treatment given to the figure farther away from us, given what the rule normally is concerning that '_' but it don't bother me. Mostly because I like his vertical stripped sketchy suit and fabulous hair. I'm sure she will love eeet, regardless of it whether or not it was last minute-ish.

Doctor Who is great! *^* you should check it out sometime~ *popcorn* The Tenth Doctor here and Rose are from season 2, but she's also in season 1 with the brilliantly enigmatic Ninth Doctor That's a neat observation too! She has such an interesting face : o
I kept her light because I just wanted to play around with some contrast between the two of them. Might go in again and darken her up a bit. Wasn't aiming for lighting based on distance (they're roughly on the same plane anyhow).
DAT SUIT AND HAIR. LOVEEEEEEE~ If I were a dude, I'd dress like Ten at least once.
