Description Sometimes, having small animations like a slight breeze effect can keep a model "alive", even if not moving. Comes in handy.

Ok, I was doing this, and for some reason the jiggle bones just don't jitter, I've really only used the Octavia model. I spawn her, bake the jiggle bones, switch to motion editor, select one of the hairs and one rotational axis, then bump up the jitter, and it changes nothing in the editor. I know that it had worked when I first followed what you did, but now it does not. Am I just missing something?

Did you have all of time selected when you attempted to create the jitter, or just a portion? Β Jitter doesn't work with all of time selected. Β Try just manually selecting a large area and see if that works.

Hmm, that solved the problem, thanks. It's just weird that I had selected all of time and used jitter before with no problem. Oh well, timed portions from now on! ty

I just did it today by accident and it worked fine as well, so may just be SFM being either nit-picky or there was something different I was unaware of.Β Β

this is good stuff. What program do you use for the animation/models?

The pony models were made in source SDK, a modding resource free on steam.

Get tf2, it's free and you need it or another source/hl2 based game for you to get source sdk, (plus its best game ever) and source filmmaker is free.

Nice tutorial! I mean VERY nice. Haven't seen tutorials like this for a long time(those activities between you and model was really funny ). Maybe it because I watch only one of your tutorials(this one) and this is the reason why I haven't seen them. Well, thanks for this great vid. You explain things very good. So, again; great tutorial and thank you :3
P.S.
Dashie is sooo cute at this picture (and in the video too).
