Description
An ink drawing (sepia, stippled) enhanced with prismacolor. First done in 1995 in ink, it was too pale and weak, recently added prismacolor to give it more body and prescence. I like it better this way.Related content

But my gosh... I don't think I could have lasted as long as you have if I did that (assuming I had 1) the skill, 2) innate talent, 3) knowledge of equine anatomy like you do, etc.) *bows at the skilled artist* The closest I've come to that kind of endurance is with a pointilism picture I did in 9th grade art class. X) Took me forever to do and my hand was sore from holding the marker. .. ok, maybe that doesn't come close.

Don't see now ass around here *looking around*. There is no snake. I was waiting for someone to ask about it. Has the snale scooted furthur away? Is the uni skittish for nothing. Did he already toss it somewheres? In otherwords it should have been in a straight line from his eyes. Therefor I should have had the grass thicker,or undergrowth to hide it. oooops!
If I didn't enjoy the process and results I wouldn't have the patience to do it. Also, I work on oils, or something else when I get tense and need to see something progress faster. And

first I thought it would be a snake image and not a unicorn
great to know that there exist people that like the old unicorn style

Did I mention the large ones that took 3 or 4 months? It does take patience and endurance........and taking breaks to work on other things too (which is why both sizes took as long as they did, hehe)

I really like how you can bairly see the horn; it blends in with the mane and forelock. If I didn't know your style of doing unicorns, chiefly the hair on the underbelly, I would have passed this as a horse. I like that

Thanks, it's probably my horsiest unciorn. It might be a little too horsey, I'm not sure. I did have a lot of fun with all that hair, mane and tail.!!
