Over the waves and far away

I really like making these aerial paths. I have several other images in my gallery with them, it's becoming almost a cliché by now.

The title is an obvious nod to "Over the Hills and Far Away" (I particularly like the version from Nightwish). Actually, I have another image in my gallery with the exact same title but a completely different mood. Link below. I thought of naming it to something different this time but it seemed so fitting that I let it be.

This image had a complicated journey... Initially it popped up in my mind with a completely different concept but I wasn't entirely happy... then a second concept popped up... and a third... and a fourth... this is probably the fifth or sixth. I'll probably try to recover some of the others, if they're really not lost causes.

Here's the other image with the same name in my gallery. It's a really old one, from 2009 or so.

As always, this is a synthetic world that I imagined and created in a 3D virtual environment. It was rendered in Vue.
