Description
For this image I wanted a room with a warm, cozy, friendly light, where you could isolate from the rest of the world but still be in contact with nature.Full size view is recommended to better appreciate the details.
Rendered in Vue.
EDIT: suggested to make the water more transparent. Some time later, comment went in a similar direction. So, I decided to render the scene again with a more transparent water. It does look better.

Absolutely amazing! Only gripe is maybe the textures on top of the border of the pool don't entirely match up with the ones on the side?

I know about that misalignment. It's something to do with the UV mapping of those structures and the way Vue handles them. I spent more than 1 hour trying to fix it and then finally gave up. I hoped no one would notice... but I was wrong.

The only thing about the water is it almost looks like a glossy tile floor. Very opaque. But it's gorgeous overall, and you can tell it's water.

This is so lovely; I wish I could be there right now. I used to have dreams about a garden like this when I was very little :]
As a side note, after looking at this for a while I felt that the leftmost tree in the foreground seems a bit...static? I'm not sure how to describe it. Although scene is very tranquil, it still feels as though it has some movement, which makes the tree seem as though it's frozen by comparison...ugh, this is not a very good description. 
Anyway, the whole image is just amazing. Very lovely and peaceful.

This is a render of a 3D scene, it's not a drawing (not painted). I'm not sure about the time, maybe between 10 and 15 hours, on and off during 2 weeks.
